I hand crafted this site using opensource technologies only. The back-end server is written in Python using Django web framework. The front-end is based on jQuery and 960 grid system.
Apache HTTP serves the python code via mod_wsgi and receives requests from a Nginx server which handles static and media files. The database is PostgreSQL.
The site is hosted on a Ubuntu 9.10 Amazon EC2 instance managed by quantmind.
